Reminder: Field trip to University of Pennsylvania - Ellen Vagelos C'90 Field tomorrow 11/9/2013. The bus will leave from the High School parking lot (near gym entrance). Students are to be at the High School by 8:00 am. The estimated time of arrival back at the High School is 5:00 pm.

Reminder: Our Annual Banquet will be held tomorrow 10/23 at Five Points Elementary School from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Please remember to bring the item you signed up for. Also, please bring any permission slips for the field trip on 11/9 that have not been turned in yet.

Practice is canceled for today 10/10/2013 due to weather. Reminder: Home game tomorrow against Nazareth. Girls are to be at the field at 3:00.

Home Game against Nazareth has been rescheduled for Friday 10/11/2013 at 4:00. Players should be at the field at 3:00. We will also have practice on Thursday 10/10/2013 from 2:30 - 4:30 (regular time).

Today's Home game against Nazareth has been Postponed. The new date has not yet been determined. No practice today.

On Sunday, September 29th, the high school and middle school field hockey teams participated in Olympics and a 3K walk through Angel 34 - an organization seeking an end to childhood cancer.  The Bangor field hockey program raised nearly $3,000 and was the highest fundraising team at Angel 34.  Congratulations to the field hockey members and thank you to all those who were generous enough to donate to the cause.

Just a reminder that money for both the Angel 34 donations and the Lottery Ticket Fundraiser is due by Tomorrow 9/27/2013. Thank you for all your hard work in fundraising for both the Angel 34 Foundation and our program!

The A team game that was to be played at Wilson has been canceled. Please pick up players at Bangor Area Middle school at regular practice end time 4:30. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We have an update for our Home Game on Friday 9/20/3013. There will not be a B Team game. B Team is still expected to follow their usual routine - they will still warm up with us before the game and then sit and support their teammates on A Team during their game.

Also please remember to be fundraising for the Lottery Tickets and for Angel 34. Reminder - the Angel 34 walk is on 9/29/2013 and the bus will leave at 9:45.

Practice is canceled today 8/28/2013 due to the weather. Reminder: Slaterfest is tomorrow night Thursday, August 29th at 7:00 PM at Paul Farnan Field at Bangor Memorial Park. In the event of rain Slaterfest will be held in the William Pensyl Gymnasium. All players must be to the field/gym by 6:45.

The team has chosen Emma Mohlmann and Samantha Bittenbender to be their Captains for the 2013 season. Congratulations girls!

Clothing Order Update: Sweat order checks should be make out to: Bangor High School Field Hockey Parents Club. This is different than the information that was sent home with players today. We apologize for the confusion!

Clothing Orders are due tomorrow, Friday, 8/23; checks are made payable to Duke's Sporting Goods.

This is a reminder that we will be having Meet the Coaches Night on Monday evening, August 19th at 7:00pm on the High School Field Hockey field. The clothing order will be on display, our parents' club will be speaking about the upcoming season regarding fundraisers and the concession stand, and the coaching staff will be introduced and go through rules, regulations, expectations, and answer any questions that you may have. We hope to see you all there!

Also please remember to turn in any photo release, student-athlete agreements, or cardiac arrest papers that you have not turned in yet.

Middle School Field Hockey practice will be canceled today 8/13 due to the weather. However, we will still be doing ImPACT testing this morning at 9:00 in the Middle School library for all 7th grade and new 8th grade students.

Pocono Dome is closed - games are postponed.

Games will be played as scheduled tonight, 1/22, at Pocono Dome.

There will NOT be indoor workouts at 5PTS Elem today.  Waiting to hear from Pocono Dome in regard to games this evening.  Will be in touch with further information.

The Boys Basketball Booster Club is holding a fundraiser at The Slate Pub in Pen Argyl on Tuesday, September 10th from noon until closing.  20% of all food purchased during that time, either dine in or take out, will be donated to the Boy's Basketball Booster Club.  This is a fantastic way to raise money for the program without having to go out, take time from your busy schedule, and ask people to buy something!!  Everyone has to eat and I'm sure mom or dad wouldn't mind a night off from cooking.  Please tell everyone you know to come out and support the boy's basketball team!
