Anyone interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Fall/Winter BAHS Cheerleading Season will need to attend all Mandatory cheering tryout practices on the following dates at Washington Elementary: Mon., April 8th, 2019-6:00pm-9:00pm Tues., April 9th, 2019-6:00pm-9:00pm Wed., April 10th, 2019-6:00pm-9:00pm Thurs., April 11th, 2019-6:00pm-9:00pm For ALL Tryout Practices all cheerleading candidates will need to wear their hair up in a high ponytail with bow in, slider shorts underneath soffee shorts, tee shirt, low white socks and cheering sneakers. TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY ON FRIDAY, APRIL 12TH, 2019 3:30pm-? For the day of tryouts all cheerleaders will need to wear their hair Gameday in a low ponytail with a bow in. All makeup will need to be Gameday ready as well. Everyone will need to wear an all white tee shirt, black slider shorts underneath all maroon or all black shorts, white low socks and cheering sneakers. Bring a packed dinner and snacks with you, a pillow/blanket to relax and a book to read or homework to do to keep you occupied until the tryout is completed. Open Gym Cheering Practices for 2019-2020 Fall/Winter season will be held at Washington Elementary on Wednesday, 4/3/19 and Thursday, 4/4/19 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. All cheerleading Candidates need to have their hair up in a clean, neat high ponytail with a bow in. Have a tee shirt on, Wear slider shorts underneath your soffee shorts, white low socks and cheering sneakers on. No Jewelry, cell phones, long/fake colored fingernails allowed. Please be prepared to practice hard and bring water or something to drink with you to practice. There will be cheering sign-ups tomorrow Tuesday, 3/19/19 for anyone interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 BAHS Fall/Winter Cheering Season. Signups will be held at the Middle School at 12:35pm and in the High School Cafeteria at 1:50pm.
All 2018-2019 BAHS Cheerleaders must return ALL school issued clean cheering uniforms and cleaned warmups on Monday, March 11th, 2019. The Coaches will be collecting all uniforms and warmups at the High School at 7:00pm in front of the Equipment Room. Thank you!

BAHS & BAMS Winter Sports Cheering begins on Friday, 11/16/2018 at DeFranco Elementary from 3:30pm-6:30pm. All Fall Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School Cheerleaders must hand their parent/guardian signed recertification forms into the Athletic Trainers by Wednesday, 11/14/18 in order to be eligible to participate for the 2018-2019 Winter Cheer Season. All Middle School Cheerleaders must have be signed up on Family ID and get a physical from your Physician. Then, the Physical must be turned into the high school they will notify your Coaches as soon as your physically and academically cleared to participate. Please wear a grey or white tee shirt to Friday's practice with black slider shorts underneath black soffee shorts overtop, low white socks, cheer sneakers and hair in a high ponytail!
Thank You to everyone that came out to support the Bangor Area Cheerleaders at our Team Carwash & Bake Sale at Ace Hardware in Bangor, PA on Saturday, July 21, 2018! The Fundraiser was a huge success due in part to our incredible community and the donations they so graciously gave. The Coaches and Team(s) appreciate all your continued support!

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to say Thank you to all of you whom contributed to making the Blue Valley Farm Show Team Fundraiser such a tremendous success! Thank You to ALL the Parent Volunteers, Coaches that helped some working multiple extra shifts to insure that all the kids were safe walking around at the farm show selling their lemonade and Iced Tea. To Our wonderful sweet, full of SPIRIT Cheerleaders who were helpful and Thankful everytime our community made a donation to their Lemonade/Iced Tea. Alot of our Cheerleaders worked extra multiple shifts to help out their team, some volunteering to work the entire week to make certain our team made a profit! Then, we have our Club Officers Jenn Hartzell and Andrea Young whom were there for setup and to take down each evening through the Heat of the day including the out of no where down pours of the Thunderstorms! I just cannot Thank everyone enough for all the support you gave to this incredible group of Cheerleaders!!
Lets make our next TEAM Fundraiser work like clock work just like this one!! Next, is our Tricky Tray Team Fundraiser, which will be held at either Washington Elementary or the Middle School Cafeteria on November 2, 2018!! We all need to start pounding the pavement and getting the donations to make this fundraiser as SUCCESSFUL, but again we cannot do it without all of your support!!

For Varsity Cheerleaders attending 2018 UCA Summer Cheer Camp Monday, 8/20 & Tuesday 8/21 from 8am-4pm at DeFranco Elementary. Remember to pack a lunch for both days, snacks and plenty to drink. We will be wearing our hair up in a high ponytail, maroon tee shirts, black sliders with black shorts overtop and your favorite bow in your hair!! There will be a curfew in place on Sunday & Monday evening at 9pm to make sure all cheerleaders get plenty of sleep for both days. Make sure to eat a hearty breakfast both days too.
REMINDER: Tuesday Evening 8/21/18 from 6pm-8pm we will be attending little Slater Youth camp from 6pm-8pm!

Cheering Coordinated Health Workouts will take place in the High School every Monday & Wednesday during the summer from 12:00pm-1:00pm! Our terrific Trainers have put together a wonderful program for us, see you there on Mondays & Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm in the High School!! CHEERS!!!
NEWS FROM CHRISTMAS CITY STUDIOS: All ordering for pictures will be done online this is new for 2018. Students will not be provided with traditional order forms. Online ordering opens 2 weeks before pictured day @ Christmas City Studio. Please follow the instructions provided by Christmas City Studios to on How to Order your Pictures:

Christmas City Studio, 3200 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020 Picture Day for Cheering will be held on August 8th, 2018 in the High School Gymnasium. Senior Cheerleaders report at 8:15am. All Cheerleaders report to the HS gym @ 9:15am. Be dressed in your uniform. Your hair maybe worn down for your individual photo but it must be in a low ponytail with your Gameday bow in for your team picture. Gameday makeup must be worn for the picture.
Impact Testing for Cheering will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 at 10:00am in the High School Library. All Cheerleaders will walk up to the High School at the conclusion of practice from DeFranco and go to the foyer of the High School Auditorium. Each Cheerleader is free to leave when she has completed her test.
Prints Galore will be putting together a set of (4) Practice Tee Shirts and (1) Gameday Jersey order for $75.00. We will be collecting money and sizes on July 31st at Practice.
Megaphones are approximately $50.00. Each new cheerleader with the exception of Junior High/Middle School will need a megaphone. The cost for the megaphone is $25.00 and the artwork is approximately $25.00.
The Pom Poms will be ordered through Omni Cheer and are $18.00 for the pair.
The club will be collecting all payments for both and they will be yours to keep after the season is complete.
