Head Middle School Coach
Biography:
Coach Pinto is a lifelong resident of Bangor. He competed in basketball and baseball throughout high school and was a team captain his senior year. Coach Pinto has coached in the community for 7 years in 3 different sports at the youth level—basketball, baseball, and football. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in education from East Stroudsburg University and his Master’s degree from Wilkes University. He has been teaching for 17 years, 5 years being in the Bangor School District at the middle school. Coach Pinto is a huge Steelers fan and loves to play fantasy football and collect baseball and football cards. He resides with his wife Candice, who is a teacher in the Northampton School District, his son Matthew, who is three-sport athlete, and his dog Maximo.

Assistant Middle School Coach
Biography:
Coach Gilliland is a lifelong resident of Bangor. He graduated in 2003 from Bangor High School. In high school, he played basketball and baseball. His senior season he was MVP of the team and nominated to play in the Via All-star classic. He has coached in the community in baseball, basketball, and football for 7 years. He owns his own construction company and has been serving the Slate Belt for the last 9 years. He resides in Roseto with his wife Christina, sons Noah and Cash, daughter Emma, and Boxer named Duke. He is a huge Steelers fan and Duke Men’s basketball fan.
