Bill Bisci.
Head Basketball Coach
Biography:
Coach Bill enters his ninth season as the head coach of the Lady Slaters. Last year he guided the Lady Slaters to a 19-8 record. The Slaters qualified for the Colonial League playoffs, knocking off Palmerton (47-40), before losing to Notre Dame (51-36) in the League semi-finals, beat Southern Lehigh in the 5A District semi-finals before losing to Blue Mountain (44-36) in the District Finals and lost to Abington Heights (35-21) in the PIAA State Playoffs.
Prior to taking over at Bangor, Coach was a highly successful girls’ varsity coach at Delaware Valley Regional High School, Nazareth Area High School and Easton Area High School. At each location Coach Bisci’s team made it to the semifinals of the district or better. Coach Bisci has a combined career record of 327 wins and 225 losses.
Coach was a three sport student-athlete at Phillipsburg Catholic, graduating in 1979 (Football, Basketball and Baseball). Bisci graduated from Raritan Valley College in 1981 (Dean’s List Honoree and participated on the Baseball Team) and graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1983.
Coach is the President of Information System Solutions a computer and data services corporation. He resides in Washington Township, PA with his wife Sharon whom he has been married to for 36 years. They have four children together. He has two daughters Alyssa, a Child Accounting Officer in the Easton Area School District and Brianna, a 2013 graduate of Bangor, a Resource Analyst for NASA. He has two sons , Kristofer an Operations Manager at NORDEN Tankers & Bulkers BulkersBulkers(USA) Inc. and Jonathan is enlisted in the United States Navy.

Tom Rotzell.
Assistant Basketball Coach
Biography:
Coach Tom Rotzell is in his 18th year as the varsity assistant coach. He graduated from Bangor and played basketball. After high school, Tom attended Mansfield College. Tom and his wife Judy of 44 years are proud parents of their three children, Ryan, Rachael, and Kirsten and six grandchildren Charlie, Grady, Blake, Brooke, Juliette and Reid. Tom is a retired post master from Mt. Bethel.

Patricia Fishler.
Volunteer Assistant Varsity Coach
Biography:
Coach Patty begins her second year as a member of the Bangor Lady Slaters coaching staff. Patty is a graduate of Bangor Area High School and East Stroudsburg University. She was a teacher and basketball coach in the East Stroudsburg Area School District for many years, retiring in 2012. Patty also had the opportunity to work at several summer basketball camps, including the Mountie Camp in Stroudsburg, and the Penn State Lady Lions Basketball Camp in State College, PA. She resides in Roseto, and enjoys spending time with her nephews and nieces, and following their careers.
Taylor Lozano.
Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach
Biography:
Coach Taylor Lozano is in her fourth year with the Slater program. She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic where she was a four year letter winner in basketball. After high school, Taylor attended Florida Southern College and played four years on the Women’s Basketball team. Taylor was then able to attend Bloomsburg University and participated on their Women’s Basketball Program (1 year from a medical hardship). Taylor has a variety of basketball experience from helping coach the Bloomsburg University Women’s Basketball team, to running her own business, Invictus Athletes in sports performance and basketball training. Taylor and her husband Marc reside in Bangor with their daughters Gracie and Magdalene.
Alyssa Pellegrino.
Volunteer Assistant Varsity Coach
Biography:
Coach Alyssa is in her eight year as an assistant varisty coach. She graduated from Easton Area High School in 2006 and was a four year letter winner in basketball and a two year letter winner in volleyball. After high school, Alyssa played basketball at Moravian College and graduated with a B.A. in Historical Studies and a minor in Business Management. Currently Alyssa works in the Easton Area School District as a Child Accounting Officer. Alyssa and her husband Jesse have one child Wesley.

Keith Gargone.
Head JV Coach
Biography:
Coach Keith Gargone is entering his fifth season with the Lady Slaters, second as Head JV Coach. He graduated from Phillipsburg High School and attended Northampton Community College. Keith and Tammy, his wife of 20 years, reside in Phillipsburg, New Jersey with their two children Ashley and Amanda. Keith retired after 25 years of service from the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Keith has been the Vice President of the Steele Hill Youth Organization in Phillipsburg for the last 12 years and has coached numerous levels of basketball and softball for Steele Hill.
Amy Huff.
Volunteer Assistant Basketball Coach
Biography:
Coach Amy Huff is in her eigth year as the volunteer assistant varsity coach. She graduated from Easton Area High School in 2005 and was a two year letter winner in basketball and four year letter winner in Track and Field. After high school, Amy attended Penn State University where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. Amy then earned her M.S. in Special Education from Saint Joseph’s University and has a certificate in ESL. Currently Amy is a teacher in the Phillipsburg School District.

Head Junior High Coach
Biography:
Coach Bill Schankel is entering his third season with the Lady Slaters, second as Head JH Coach. He graduated from Bangor and played basketball. After high school, Bill graduated from Churchman Business College. Bill and his wife MaryAnn of 50 years are proud parents of one child, Bill and two grandchildren Aiden and Kayla. Bill is a retired postal clerk from Pen Argyl. Bill’s coaching experience spans multiple decades in both basketball and softball.

Karyn Pinter.
Volunteer Assistant Junior High Coach
Biography:
Coach Karyn begins her second year as a member of the Bangor Lady Slaters coaching staff. A 1996 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, she was a four-time all-conference player and earned All-American honors in basketball as a senior at Susquehanna University. She also competed in track and field at Susquehanna, winning four Middle Atlantic Conference championships — three in the triple jump and one in the long jump. Karyn worked at Kean University for a decade, last serving as the Director of Student-Athlete Services, NCAA Compliance Officer and Senior Woman Administrator. She has been active in the UMBT Slater Youth Basketball program for the last four years. Karyn and her husband Martin have two daughters, Julia and Kathryn, and reside in Mount Bethel.
