Biography:

My Name is Al Uliana and I am a 2002 graduate of Pen Argyl Area High School.  I attended college at Elizabethtown and earned my B.S. in psychology.

I competed in cross country for two years at Pen Argyl, earning my varsity letter while also being named team MVP.  I also competed in track and field at the High School level earning another team MVP award running the middle distance races.

At Elizabethtown College I was fortunate to hold four indoor and two outdoor school records after my freshman year.  I was named first team all conference multiple times for indoor and outdoor track and field in the 400 meter dash while earning conference championship medals in the indoor Distance Medley relay and the 4 x 400 meter relay twice.  I was able to compete at nationals in the 4 x 400 meter relay my junior year participating on a Blue Jay team that finished 13th in the nation for outdoor track and field.

I had previously coached at Pen Argyl Area High School for both middle school cross country and track and field for 6 years prior to joining the Bangor Staff in 2015.  I also am an Assistant High school track coach at Bangor working primarily with the sprint and hurdle events.

Biography:

I am a 2001 graduate from Northampton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from DeSales University in 2005.  I ran both Cross Country and track at both Northampton and DeSales.  At Northampton enjoyed much success as a runner including being district champion in both cross-country and the 3200 meter run in track as well as a 5th and 2nd place finish at the state championships respectively in each event. At DeSales I was lucky enough to find continued success in running earning All-American honors in cross-country twice and setting school records in cross-country as well as many track and field events.

I have been coaching at Bangor since 2006 where I started as the middle school cross-country coach and later moved to become the varsity assistant coach in 2009.
