Biography:
I am a 1990 graduate from Phillipsburg High School and earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Education from FSU in 1995 and 1997 respectively. I ran both Cross Country and Track & Field at Phillipsburg and FSU. While at P’Burg I was privileged to have been a varsity member of teams that won the East Penn Conference in Cross Country (’88 &’89) , Track (’87 &’90) as well as a NJ State Sectional Title in Cross Country (’88). At FSU I enjoyed many team successes with multiple Conference championship teams in CC, Indoor & outdoor Track and Field as well as three team qualifying trips to NCAA Cross Country Nationals. Individually, I was very successful with having earned All-American finishes at NCAA nationals in CC twice, and a combined eleven times in Indoor and Outdoor Track.
I have been Coaching at Bangor since 2001 as either a volunteer, an assistant or as a head coach in High School Cross Country (volunteer ’01-’02, assistant ’03-’07, head ’08-present), Middle School Basketball (assistant ’03-’15, ’18-'19, ‘24-’25, head ’16-’17), Junior High Basketball volunteer assistant (‘19-‘20) , and High School Track and Field (assistant ’02- ’06, head ’07-present). Over those years as the head coach these HS teams have earned twelve (12) Colonial League Championships (CC earned 5, track earned 7).
Personally, I am married to my wife Tanya and I am blessed with 5 children, two sons and three daughters (Aaron, Jacob, Sarah, (the twins) Grace and Hannah).
