Biography:

Coach Cohen is entering is fifth year as head coach of the Bangor Slater Girls Tennis team. After taking over the team in the Fall of 2010 and being left with only one returning starter, his teams have posted respective regular season records of 11-7, 14-4, 17-1, and 13-5 over his first four seasons. The 2012 Girls team finished 20-2 while capturing the Colonial League Championship by beating four time defending champion Moravian Academy, 3-2 in the finals. Coach Cohen was named The Express-Times Girls Tennis Coach of the Year for the Slaters' 2013 season where they went 13-5 and won the Colonial League North after graduating 5 of their 7 starters from the 2012 Championship team. 

Coach Cohen is also entering his fourth year as head coach of the Bangor Boys Tennis Team, and his sixth year overall with the program. The 2014 boys just completed a winning season going 11-7. With the graduation of Shane Reider, the boys team will be led by co-captains Tyler Learn and Garrett Nelson in 2015. The boys will look for a combination of youth and experience to guide them into the next phase of their quest for a first Colonial League Championship.

Coach Cohen resides in Forks Township, PA with his wife Claire and their three dogs, Pepper, Ross and Clay. He is an avid fan of the New York Mets, Giants, Knicks and Rangers.

Biography:

Beginning third year as Varsity Head Coach of both the boys and girls programs at Bangor HS.  Have been on the tennis coaching staff of the boys and/or girls programs at Bangor for the past seven years.  Boys team qualified for the District XI Team Tournament in each of the first two seasons as head coach compiling an overall record of 27-11.
