Coach Pinto is a lifelong resident of Bangor. He competed in basketball and baseball throughout high school and was a team captain his senior year. Coach Pinto has coached in the community for 7 years in 3 different sports at the youth level—basketball, baseball, and football. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in education from East Stroudsburg University and his Master’s degree from Wilkes University. He has been teaching for 17 years, 5 years being in the Bangor School District at the middle school. Coach Pinto is a huge Steelers fan and loves to play fantasy football and collect baseball and football cards. He resides with his wife Candice, who is a teacher in the Northampton School District, his son Matthew, who is three-sport athlete, and his dog Maximo.
