Following tomorrow's home game vs. Saucon Valley, we will be having our annual team party. I hope that all players are able to attend as we spend the final moments of our spring season together and thank all players and parents for a successful season.

Please read all 3 possibilities below for tomorrow's party:

1. If the game is postponed or canceled, all players should take the bus home. The picnic will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the Bangor Area MS cafeteria. Doors will be opened at 5:30 p.m. to begin set-up.

2. If the game is played and weather is DECENT, we will hold the party outside.

3. If the game is played BUT WEATHER IS POOR, we will hold the party inside. The building will be opened at 5:30 p.m. so that participating parents can begin to bring in food. Poor weather = consistent rainfall, thunder, and/or lightning.

Tomorrow's A-game at Catasauqua begins at 4 p.m. The B-game will begin around 5:15 p.m. The bus will leave from BAMS at 2:20 p.m. All players will be released from their 8th period class on Friday at 1:55 p.m..

Please do not forget your jersey, shorts, socks, shin guards, and cleats. Also, bring a jacket or sweatshirt in case it is cool outside.

I expect us to arrive back at the middle school around 6:45 p.m.. Parents/Guardians, please have arrangements to pick up your child at the middle school at that time. I will also alert players to text/call home when we leave from Catasauqua.

Lastly, if you need to leave the site of the away game with a parent, you need a note signed by your parent. This is for emergencies only (example: another sporting event).

There is no soccer practice today. There will be practice tomorrow from 2:30 to 4:30.

The season schedule is fully updated on the team page. Our season begins on Tuesday at home versus Notre Dame East Stroudsburg. The A-team will play at 4:00. The B-team will play at approximately 5:10. After the A-game, Coach Wehr would like to meet with all parents near the bleachers at BAMS Soccer Field. All players should have their jersey, a pair of black shorts, and maroon socks. If any player would like to wear his/her own black shorts, they may choose to do that as long as they are primarily black and not other colors.

One final note: Monday's practice will end at 4:00 p.m., not 4:30 p.m.

The final team roster is posted under "Roster." With that being said, Coach Strouse & Coach Wehr will begin to work with you in smaller groups, so please look at your practice group for Monday. These ARE NOT team rosters for games; they are a simple way for us to divide you into two groups and work more closely with each of you. Groups are posted under "TEAM FILES."

On another note, there are 5 goalkeepers on the roster. Goalkeeper training will begin at 2:30 on Monday and go for approximately 20-25 minutes before we begin practice. While that is occurring, field players will be able to have a kick-around, shoot-around, etc. until goalkeeper training is complete. I ask that field players begin stretching as a team at 2:50 and be ready to begin practice at 3:00 sharp. I ask that goalkeepers get stretched out and ready to begin goalkeeper training by 2:30.

Today's practice is canceled due to the weather. Wednesday's scheduled off-day will now be a practice day. Furthermore, final rosters will be posted by noon tomorrow. Please see Coach Wehr in school if you have any questions about your status.

Due to the conditions of the soccer field, there will be NO PRACTICE today, Wednesday, April 1. There will be practice tomorrow from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.. Please arrange rides to be prompt & on time to and from practice. Try-outs will continue INTO next week; there will be NO CUTS made this week.

Today's co-ed soccer practice is canceled. We will resume tomorrow, 2:30-4:30.

Try-outs will begin next Monday, March 30. Please make sure that you are CLEARED to play; if you are not cleared and show up, you will NOT be able to practice. If you are unsure, see Coach Wehr. The field is currently recovering from the winter weather, so if any postponements occur, they will be posted HERE first and also be on the overhead announcements at BAMS. If we are good to go, it will be cold, so dress appropriately. I should not see anyone wearing just shorts and a t-shirt if the weather is anything like today. DRESS WARM.

To clarify, there WILL also be practice on Thursday, April 2nd at 2:30 p.m. There is no school for students that day, but practice/try-outs will still occur.
